Summer of Science

Day Camp For: K-6 Grade
June 16, 2008-August 14, 2008

Monday-Thursday 1:00-5:00 PM (No program the week of July 4th)
Cost: $20 to register for the entire eight weeks
Location: Camp Fire USA Office 305 W. Hardin St. Findlay, OH 45840

Throughout the summer, youth will have the opportunity to explore the different kinds of science as well as the history of science in a fun and hands-on way. Youth will learn about frogs, ants, space, and much more! Throughout the summer, youth will also be going on a variety of field trips to:

  • The Toledo Zoo

  • COSI Columbus

  • The Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum

  • Camp Glen

“Going Green with Teens”

What are YOU doing this summer?

Camp Fire USA is looking for 175 middle schoolers from Hancock, Seneca and Wood county to take charge and make a difference in their community! “Going Green with Teens” is a summer service learning program designed just for middle schoolers centered around environmental education and giving back to the environment.

Program kick-off is June 24, 25, 27 so sign up soon! (students pick just one date to attend) Registration Cost: $10.00 (includes a guaranteed spot in the program, t-shirt and travel cost)

*Fees will be waived upon an individual basis if requested*
